Newlyweds Chinese actress Hu Jing
and her Malaysian business tycoon husband Frank Choo giving an interview
to The Star and Sin Chew Daily Monday at the Suolang Qigong centre
at Wisma Mirama in Kuala Lumpur. Despite having to postpone their
honeymoon because of Hu Jing's hectic filming schedule, theymanaged
to spend several days in Pulau Redang.
The couple's wedding on Sept
27 was one of the talks of the town with even regional television
stations recording the ceremony.
Besides each other, the couple have
also found a new joint interest here -qigong.
Hu Jing have been learning the health
course for the last 15 months and is considering returning to Beijing
to start her own centre there when she is ready.
"I want to share its goodness
with others," she said in an interview at the Suolang Qigong
centre at Wisma Mirama with The Star and Sin Chew Daily yesterday.
Hu Jing, who looked fresh and slightly
tanned from their recent holiday at Pulau Redang, had only praises
for the qigong skill that she had acquired.
The newlyweds were still in the midst
of celebrating their wedding and are set to fly to Beijing to hold
a tea party with their China-based friends soon.
"Since 48 hours before the wedding till now, I have not had
much sleep, but I am still feeling very energetic thanks to the
Suolang Qigong that I have been practicing now," quipped the
radiant bride who looked just as lovely minus the make-up.
Having just practised qigong in the
morning before the interview, Hu Jing was dressed casually in a
white cotton tee and red track bottom, while Choo wore a white shirt
over dark pants.
Hu Jing, 30, met Choo, 43, the managing
director of Malaysian funeral services firm Xiao En Group, at a
dinner in 2004.
Both took a liking to each other and
decided to embark on a long distance relationship.
When asked to share their love
story, Choo's simple reply was, it's only for herears.?
Hu Jing has more than a dozen
Chinese TV series and several films under her belt.
